Ashford Sports Club

Ashford Sports Club is the home of five local sports clubs.  Members can play, compete and improve at their chosen sport, and afterwards relax in comfortable surroundings. With both our £1.5M Short Lane Centre, in addition to our Woodthorpe Road Centre, we can offer even better facilities.

The Short Lane complex was purchased with Ashford Sports Club funds supplemented by grants from the National Lottery Fund. It incorporates a full size, floodlit, all weather artificial hockey pitch, two full size cricket pitches, space for four full size grass hockey pitches and an enclosed, floodlit, outdoor hard surface area suitable for netball, basketball and 5 a-side football all of which are available for non-members to hire to.
